Job Description As a Security Officer Front Desk Specialist in Richardson, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $19.38 / Hour Job Schedule Mon 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Fri 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Sat 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM Sun 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM What You’ll Do Provide customer service at the front desk by following site‑specific procedures, screening visitors, and assisting with access control for employees, guests, and vendors at the location. Monitor lobby and entry activity, verify identification and/or credentials as required, and document visitor information in accordance with site protocols. Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, and report security‑related concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership. Answer phones, provide directions, and support front desk operations while helping to maintain an orderly and professional environment within the location. Complete required logs, reports, and other documentation related to access activity, incidents, and security‑related observations in a timely manner. Minimum Requirements A guard card or license is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
