Shift: 6:45 PM - 6:45 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 12 months of Medical Surgical - Orthopedic Unit experience.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Indiana license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• 6 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Ascension Health Resource and Supply Management Group, LLC (Direct) - Main and no current placement allowed at Program: Ascension Health Resource and Supply Management Group, LLC (Direct) - Main.

Additional Details:

In order to receive travel rate, clinician’s claimed residence must match the address on the driver’s license.

Required Credentials: - Driver’s license is required for RN/LPN/PTs working on a compact license. - Ascension Pharmacology Exam required during onboarding; minimum 80% score, 2 attempts allowed. - Ascension Medical Surgical Exam required during onboarding; minimum 80% score, 2 attempts allowed. - Ascension Core Competencies required during onboarding; minimum 80% score or national benchmark passing score, 2 attempts allowed. - Ascension EKG Exam required during onboarding; minimum 80% score, 2 attempts allowed. - Ascension Health does not accept vaccine/Tdap declinations.

Special Requests: - Current Ascension employees cannot apply for travel roles. - Candidates need employment separation for at least 6 months to be considered for a travel position.

Unit Details: - Patient population includes total joint replacement, general surgery, urology surgery, chest pain observation, pancreatitis, osteomyelitis, and cellulitis.

Shift & Scheduling: - Every other weekend and holiday rotation. - Weekend-only schedules may be considered.

Floating Requirements: - Required to float to 5S, a Med/Tele/PCU unit.

5 days maximum time off

2 Charge/Lead references required
