Maintenance Technician IIKeep our facilities safe, functional, and ready to serve our community. This is a full-time, benefit eligible position. The schedule is Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm. Location: Jefferson City and Eldon, MOAs a Maintenance Technician II, you'll take the lead on maintaining and repairing our facilities—ensuring every space meets safety, comfort, and compliance standards that support quality care. From performing skilled trade work to assisting with small in-house projects, your expertise helps sustain the environments where healing and hope thrive.This is a great opportunity for someone with strong maintenance or skilled trade experience who values independence, problem-solving, and the satisfaction of keeping vital systems running smoothly in support of a mission-driven organization.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform maintenance and repairs across facilities while ensuring compliance with local building, safety, and fire codes.Enter and track work orders using the computerized maintenance management system.Work independently to diagnose and resolve maintenance issues using a variety of tools and techniques.Assist with in-house facility projects and collaborate with other maintenance team members to ensure timely completion.Maintain a safe and organized workspace, following all regulatory and safety procedures.Requirements, Skills, Knowledge and ExpertiseHigh School Diploma or GED preferredWork Experience/Training/Additional Requirements At least three (3) years of experience in maintenance, carpentry, or a similar skilled trade preferredSkilled in at least one (1) trade preferredWorking knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general maintenance methods and procedures preferredFamiliarity with regulatory standards, safety requirements, and equipment operation preferredWorking knowledge and ability to perform general building repair practices and methods preferredA valid driver's license at the time of hire requiredYou'll be a great fit for this role if you: Enjoy hands-on work that keeps buildings safe, functional, and welcoming.Have experience with trades or building systems and like seeing the impact of your skills every day.Are dependable, proactive, and capable of working independently.Take pride in supporting the mission and daily operations that make a difference in your community.About Compass Health NetworkCompass Health Network is a nonprofit organization dedicated to delivering accessible, high-quality care throughout Missouri.
