Overview For cardiologists seeking independent ownership while receiving structured operational support from MedCBO. Physicians own and operate their own practice entity; MedCBO provides non‑clinical business and operational support. Physician Responsibilities Provide cardiology care within your specialty scope. Develop professional relationships within the medical community. Coordinate payer credentialing with MedCBO support. Determine clinical services offered. Manage clinical quality and patient experience. Administrative Support Provided by MedCBO Practice formation coordination. Billing and collections management. Payer contract negotiation. Financial infrastructure and reporting. Operational workflows and staffing systems. Technology platform implementation (EHR, telehealth, clinical workflow). Requirements MD or DO with unrestricted license in good standing in intended state of practice. Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology (or appropriate specialty). Eligible for hospital and/or facility privileges where applicable. Ability to obtain professional liability coverage at standard market rates. No current limitations, exclusions, or disciplinary restrictions that would prevent independent practice. Interest in the independent practice model. Preferred Desire for practice ownership.
