Commercial Loan Servicing Specialist II-III

Job Description This role is primarily responsible for the servicing of Commercial loans including but not limited to preparing commercial loan documentation, loan boarding, collateral perfection – including real estate, UCC and titled vehicle secured – processing of related financial transactions, and loan reconciliation functions. Location This role is open to candidates within Washington Trust Bank's footprint of Washington, Idaho, and Oregon. A hybrid work schedule is available after training, combining remote and onsite work. Regular, reliable attendance is required. Schedule Monday thru Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm. Essential Functions Handle loan boarding and collateral perfection. Audit and review loan documents for a variety of commercial loan products to ensure compliance with regulatory and policy issues. Handle loan package requests from bank lenders and determine required documentation for specific loan types and conditions. Order and verify supporting documentation. Review documents for accuracy and completeness. Manipulate systems and use knowledge to create effective loan packages. Prepare appropriate documentation for collateral to be pledged. Ensure accuracy and completeness for perfection and government regulations. Effectively communicate with other departments in the bank, collaborating with internal and external customers to ensure a successful customer experience. Qualifications Proficient knowledge of loan documentation, collateral perfection, and general loan servicing, as well as bank, federal, and state policies and requirements. Experience with LaserPro, BakerHill NextGen, Jack Henry Silverlake or similar loan servicing, boarding and collateral perfection platforms preferred. Minimum of 1-3 years of experience working in loan servicing or an administrative environment is required. Strong knowledge of lending laws, regulations, and business loan documentation. Knowledge of flood regulation is a plus. Demonstrated accuracy when working with detailed data in a deadline‑oriented environment. Demonstrated ability to quickly adapt to and utilize systems and applications. Strong telephone and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to effectively prioritize work projects to meet deadlines. Pay Range Loan Servicing Specialist II – $20.67 – $31.03 Loan Servicing Specialist III – $22.50 – $33.76 The compensation range represents the low and high end of the base compensation range for this position located in the Central/Eastern Washington area. Actual compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on location, experience, and performance.
