Position Summary

Help Build The Home for Athletes

At D1 Training Indian Land , we don't just train athletes—we build confidence, discipline, character, and lifelong habits that help people succeed both on and off the field.

We're looking for an energetic, organized, people-focused Assistant Manager/Sports Performance & Fitness who loves building relationships, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and enjoys being part of a team that's making a difference in the community.

This is much more than a front desk position. You'll play a key role in membership growth, member experience, marketing, community outreach, and the day-to-day operations of one of the area's premier athletic training facilities.

Known as "The Home for Athletes," D1 Indian Land is committed to developing people just as much as performance.

What You'll Do

• Welcome athletes and families and create an exceptional member experience.

• Guide prospective members through tours, assessments, and membership options.

• Respond to leads by phone, text, email, and CRM, and consistently follow up.

• Help achieve monthly membership and revenue goals.

• Support daily operations, including scheduling, billing, member accounts, and front desk responsibilities.

• Create marketing materials and assist with social media content.

• Build relationships with local schools, sports organizations, businesses, and community partners.

• Assist with camps, combines, clinics, competitions, and special events.

• Help maintain a clean, organized, high-energy training environment.

What We're Looking For

• Passion for fitness, sports, and helping others succeed.

• Experience with Microsoft Office, Canva, CRM systems, and social media is a plus.

• Willing to work evenings and every other Saturday.

Compensation & Benefits

• $18–$22 per hour , based on experience

• Quarterly performance bonus based on membership growth, retention, and performance

• Complimentary D1 Training membership

Schedule

Approximately 30 hours per week

Monday-Friday: 2:30 PM – 8:30 PM

Every Other Saturday: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ years of customer service, sales, hospitality, or fitness industry experience.
• Experience with membership sales or consultative selling.
• Marketing or event planning experience is a plus.
• Experience working with youth athletes or sports organizations is preferred
• Former athletes, kinesiology/exercise science students, sports management majors, coaches, teachers, and fitness professionals are encouraged to apply.
