Smoky Mountain Health & Rehabilitation Center is seeking a dependable and hardworking Housekeeping & Laundry Aide to join our Environmental Services team.

Healthcare experience is not required! Candidates with experience in housekeeping, hotels, hospitality, laundry services, janitorial services, custodial work, or environmental services are encouraged to apply.

As a Housekeeping & Laundry Aide , you'll help maintain a clean, sanitary, and comfortable environment for our residents while supporting the daily housekeeping and laundry needs of the facility.

Responsibilities Include:

• Clean and sanitize resident rooms, bathrooms, hallways, common areas, and offices

• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, disinfect, and maintain assigned areas

• Perform resident room and discharge cleaning according to facility standards

• Collect, wash, dry, fold, and distribute resident clothing and facility linens

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laundry area

• Restock housekeeping carts and cleaning supplies

• Follow assigned cleaning schedules and complete special cleaning projects as needed

• Safely operate housekeeping and commercial laundry equipment

• Follow infection prevention, sanitation, and workplace safety guidelines

• Work collaboratively with team members to maintain a clean and welcoming environment for our residents

• Previous housekeeping, laundry, hotel, hospitality, janitorial, custodial, environmental services, or healthcare experience preferred, but not required

• Commercial laundry experience is a plus

• Dependable with a strong work ethic and attention to detail

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Ability to stand, bend, lift, push, and pull throughout the workday

• Commitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for our residents
