Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Inventory Control Specialist to join our dynamic team in Grove City, OH. In this role, you will play a critical part in managing our inventory processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in our supply chain operations. Responsibilities- Monitor and maintain inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability.
- Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies.
- Implement and improve inventory management processes and systems.
- Collaborate with purchasing and logistics teams to forecast inventory needs.
- Prepare and analyze inventory reports for management review.
- Assist in the training of staff on inventory control procedures.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in inventory handling.
- High school diploma or equivalent; degree in Supply Chain Management or related field preferred.
- Proven experience in inventory management or a related role.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Proficient in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics is a plus.
