Clinical Support Representative

Responsibilities Patient Care Accountabilities: Promptly room patients using EMR, act as chaperone or patient observer when requested, assist with walking, transfers, dressing, undressing, and preparation for exam. Remain in exam room when necessary and serve as witness for procedural consents. Respond appropriately to emergency/code situations. Clerical / Other Accountabilities: Obtain and scan necessary documents (test results, faxes, reports, notes, referrals), complete medical forms, prepare and send patient correspondence, assist clinical staff with patient education materials, perform call‑backs as directed, and provide patients with follow‑up care instructions. Environmental / Safety Accountabilities: Adhere to universal body fluid precautions and infection control policies, dispose of infectious waste, promote hand‑washing, maintain neat and orderly patient care areas, clean and disinfect instruments and equipment, notify supervisor of malfunctions, set up equipment as per protocol, and restock as needed. Other / Regulatory: Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulatory standards (e.g., TJC, DOH, FDA, HIPAA), adopt new processes, and engage in practice operation changes. Credentials Basic Cardiac Life Support (Required) Certified Nurse Aid Education or Equivalent Experience H.S. Diploma/GED (Required) Certification from an accredited Medical Assistant or Certified Nursing Assistant program, with at least 1+ year related experience Benefits We believe that the best care for our patients starts with the best care for our employees.
