Research Associate II, NGS
Flagship Pioneering, Inc.
Role Support Alltrna's Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) core within the Molecular Biology team by executing RNA-based NGS experiments, including library preparation, sequencing, quality control, and documentation. Responsibilities independently operate automation platforms (KingFisher, Mantis, Biomek) evaluate QC metrics troubleshoot deviations maintain SOPs and collaborate across teams to ensure sample and data integrity Qualifications BS/MS in biology, molecular biology, or related field 2+ years (RA II) or 4+ years (Senior RA) of relevant experience hands-on NGS experience including RNA extraction, PCR, qPCR, gel electrophoresis, and Illumina library prep Preferred experience with small RNAs and automation platforms. High-Value supporting a biopharma platform focused on RNA therapeutics for genetic diseases, with emphasis on high-throughput, quality-driven NGS workflows.
