Production Associate

Overview Position: Production Associate. Wage: $18.00 per hour. Shift: Day, Night (6:00 am – 6:00 pm; 6:00 pm – 6:00 am) with a 2-2-3 schedule. Location: Mount Pleasant, IA. This is a day and night shift position with the opportunity for hire. Responsibilities Operate industrial manufacturing machinery in a computerized production environment. Set up equipment and tooling for production runs. Monitor machine performance and production output. Complete production reports, quality documentation, and computerized records. Inspect products and monitor quality throughout the manufacturing process. Work closely with Quality Assurance personnel to address product quality concerns. Follow all plant safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE). Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping standards within assigned work areas. Work collaboratively as part of a team in a 24/7 manufacturing operation. Qualifications High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required. Previous manufacturing or production experience preferred but not required. Ability to work 12-hour shifts. Ability to understand and follow operating procedures and safety requirements. Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills preferred. Basic computer skills for reporting and production documentation. Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Reliable attendance and punctuality. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Ability to work in a manufacturing environment around moving machinery. Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials as required by production needs.
