Material Handler - Forklift Operator

Job Title: Material Handler/Forklift Operator Location: Burlington, NC Shift: 1st Shift Mon-Fri 7a-3p Pay: $16 Job Summary Responsible for safely and efficiently moving, loading, unloading, and organizing materials throughout the facility. This position requires forklift operation, accurate material handling, and a valid driver’s license. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Operate forklifts safely to transport raw materials, finished products, and supplies. Load and unload trucks and trailers using a forklift. Move and stage materials throughout the warehouse and production areas. Verify quantities, labels, and materials against work orders or shipping documents. Maintain accurate inventory and material locations. Supply production lines with materials as needed. Perform receiving, shipping, and material staging duties. Inspect materials for damage and report discrepancies to management. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Follow all company safety procedures and forklift operating guidelines. Perform additional warehouse and material handling duties as assigned. Required Qualifications & Skills Valid, current driver’s license required. Previous forklift experience required; forklift certification preferred. Ability to safely operate a sit-down or other applicable powered industrial truck. Previous warehouse or manufacturing experience preferred. Ability to lift, push, pull, and move materials as required. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions. Dependable attendance and strong work ethic. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse or manufacturing environment.
