Automotive Technician

Experienced Automotive Technician / Master Technician Walterboro Ford – Walterboro, South Carolina Walterboro Ford is hiring an experienced Main Line Automotive Technician or Master Technician to join our growing service department. We are seeking proven A-, B-, or C-Level Technicians who can accurately diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles while producing consistent, high-quality work. Previous professional automotive repair experience is required. This is not an entry-level position. Responsibilities Diagnose mechanical, electrical, drivability, and performance concerns Complete engine, transmission, steering, suspension, brake, HVAC, and electrical repairs based on skill level Perform vehicle inspections and clearly document recommended repairs Use diagnostic equipment, scan tools, service information, and technical resources Complete repairs correctly and efficiently Communicate additional repair needs to service advisors Maintain accurate repair-order documentation Perform quality-control checks before returning vehicles to customers Keep your work area, tools, and equipment clean and organized Follow all dealership, manufacturer, and safety procedures Participate in ongoing factory and dealership training Required Qualifications Professional automotive technician experience Demonstrated A-, B-, or C-Level technician capabilities Strong diagnostic and mechanical repair skills Ability to work independently and manage assigned repair orders Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record Own set of professional automotive tools Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic Commitment to producing safe, accurate, and quality repairs Preferred Qualifications Ford or domestic dealership experience Ford STARS training or manufacturer certifications ASE certifications Master Technician or Senior Master Technician status Experience with advanced electrical and drivability diagnostics Diesel experience is a plus What We Offer Competitive, experience-based compensation Strong earning potential for productive technicians Steady workflow in a growing service department Factory training and advancement opportunities Modern diagnostic tools and service equipment Supportive management and a professional work environment Benefits and paid time off for eligible employees Career opportunities with an established Ford dealership Walterboro Ford is looking for a technician who takes pride in their work, wants to stay productive, and understands that customer trust begins with repairing vehicles correctly the first time.
