Shift: 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience with 12 months worked in the last 3 years.

• Experience with Paragon is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Texas license or compact license (required after submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - (TX) CommonSpirit Health and no current placement allowed at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - (TX) CommonSpirit Health.

• 12 months gap required between for Per Diem at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - (TX) CommonSpirit Health and no current placement allowed at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - (TX) CommonSpirit Health.

Required Credentials: - You are required to pass a Basic Dysrhythmia/EKG exam during onboarding.

Special Requests: - Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained. - Cannot have worked at any CommonSpirit location within the last 12 months. - Cannot apply to more than one job order on the same unit and shift at the facility. - No previous employment allowed at this facility. - Scheduling is by manager; block scheduling cannot be guaranteed.

Unit Details: - Common diagnoses/patient types include CHF, diabetes, pneumonia, CKD, and med/surg telemetry patients. - Tele monitor techs monitor patients, but RNs must be able to read strips. - CPAP, BiPAP, and high-flow patients. - Charting system: Paragon.

Shift & Scheduling: - Every other weekend required. - Holidays as required.

Floating Requirements: - Will float to all med/surg units.

7 days maximum time off. Facility holidays: 11/26/2026, 12/25/2026, 01/01/2027. Number of holidays allowed off: 1. Start assignment restriction: 14 days

1 reference required from within the last 3 years

1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 12 months
