Child Care Specialist- Newborn Caregiver

La Isha Lakewood, NJ La Isha is a wellness and recovery retreat designed to support mothers with newborns, women recovering after childbirth, and busy mothers seeking time to rest and recharge. We are seeking compassionate and dependable Newborn Care Specialists. In this role, you will provide attentive, nurturing care to newborn infants in our nursery while helping create a safe, calm, and supportive environment for babies and their mothers. The Newborn Care Specialist will report to the Executive Director or the scheduled supervisor and work closely with the La Isha team to ensure each infant receives exceptional, individualized care. Responsibilities Works under the direction of the Executive Director or scheduled supervisor. Attends to needs of babies in nursery, and regularly checks on infants' safety and wellbeing Attends to cleanliness and sanitation of room and equipment Maintains inventory of nursery supplies. Laundry, sorts clothing and linen used for infant care Complies with facility policy and protocol in baby care and customer (mother) care. Qualifications Successfully attend and pass newborn care experience and training, provided by La Isha. Professional and prompt communication with supervisor, staff, and guests. Must be able to clearly comprehend oral and written instructions. Must generate positive attitude and image and promote loyalty amongst staff and visitors Must demonstrate honesty, integrity and care in company and interpersonal relations.
