Job Summary:
Seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse with acute neuro and medical-surgical experience to provide specialized patient care in a neuro unit. The role involves staffing overflow beds and supporting patient needs across various shifts.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and deliver comprehensive nursing care to neuro and medical-surgical patients.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Monitor patient conditions and respond promptly to changes or emergencies.
• Document clinical findings and interventions accurately in electronic health records.
• Follow established protocols and maintain compliance with safety standards.
• Assist in staffing overflow beds to ensure adequate patient coverage.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid RN license and recent minimum of 2 years' experience in Neuro or Med Surg nursing.
• Possess AHA BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Be NIH Certified.
• Demonstrate strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Capable of working variable shifts, including early mornings and evenings.
• Adapt to a fast-paced, high-pressure environment efficiently.
