2nd shift Mechanic Technician Full-Time Great Temp to Hire Opportunity! 2nd Shift: 5:30 PM 4:00 AM 10 hours shift Monday Thursday Fridays if needed 3:30 PM to 12 PM (Must be available to work overtime when needed) Pay Rate: $25.00 to $30.00 Per Hour (Based on experience) $1 shift differential Get paid every Friday! Qualified Candidate Responsibilities

• Conduct preventive maintenance to mechanical devices.
• Detect malfunctions through observation (sound or visual).
• Repair broken or faulty machine parts.
• Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance service and parts orders.
• Troubleshooting and repairing including ability to read blueprints and schematics and systematically diagnose and repair problems.
• Perform emergency repairs (electrical and mechanical).
• Choose appropriate materials based on mechanical needs.
• Align and calibrate machine parts.
• Follow safety rules and regulations.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment.

Requirements

• 3 years of experience as a maintenance mechanic or similar role.
• Basic understanding of pneumatics, hydraulics, electrical and mechanics.
• Experience with mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, operational theory, troubleshooting and repair including ability to read blueprints and schematics and systematically diagnose and repair problems.
• Experience with mechanical drive systems including chains, belts, shaft and gear drives, and system operation and performance.
• Familiarity with using various power and hand tools, such as drill press and grinders.
• Ability to stand for long hours and lift heavy loads.
• Problem-solving skills.
