ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Production Arborist at Ryan Lawn & Tree, you will partner with a skilled team to cultivate a healthy urban forest, one client property at a time. Our Arborists are trained in the art and science of tree and shrub care—maintaining, improving, and preserving the health of the landscapes we serve. If you love working outdoors and thrive on physical, hands-on challenges, we want to hear from you.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Execute pruning and tree work on client properties, including tree pruning and removal, shrub pruning, mulch installation, and stump grinding
• Collaborate effectively within a team environment while also working independently with efficiency
• Operate small-engine equipment safely and proficiently, including chainsaws, shears, and string trimmers
• Communicate professionally with clients regarding service expectations, processes, and timelines
• Adhere to all safety protocols while working aloft and on the ground

A background in forestry or a related field is a plus, as is prior industry experience. That said, if you bring a genuine willingness to learn—both on the job and independently—our structured training program will equip you with the skills to succeed. All candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Strong physical capability, including the ability to lift 50 lbs. and walk 3+ miles per day
• Comfort and respect for working at heights; ability to climb and work aloft
• Ability to push and pull objects over extended distances
• Ability to work effectively in all weather conditions
• Commitment to team collaboration and workplace safety
• Valid driver’s license required
• Ability to obtain DOT certification and pass a background check and drug screening
