If you're the kind of person who can fix just about anything and likes keeping a workplace running like a well-oiled machine, we want you on our team. We're looking for a hard-working, self-motivated Facility Maintenance Technician who isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves and take on whatever the day throws at them. You'll be the go-to person for repairs, upkeep, and problem-solving across multiple buildings - and you'll interact with employees daily to keep our facilities safe, functional, and looking sharp. - Preventive Maintenance: Build and carry out maintenance schedules that keep equipment running and prevent breakdowns before they happen
- General Repairs: Handle everyday fixes - carpentry, plumbing, painting, electrical, replacing bulbs, repairing fixtures, patching walls, and more
- HVAC Support: Keep an eye on building climate systems, troubleshoot issues, and swap filters as needed
- Emergency Response: Be the first call when something goes wrong - security issues, fire alarms, major maintenance problems
- Vendor Coordination: When a job needs outside help, you'll call in the pros and make sure the work gets done right and on time
- Safety & Compliance: Perform regular safety checks and ensure all buildings meet federal, state, and local codes
- A strong work ethic and the drive to get things done without being micromanaged
- Experience with basic facility repairs - carpentry, plumbing, painting, and general maintenance
- Welding skills (a big bonus)
- Electrical knowledge (a plus)
- Willingness to travel between multiple buildings throughout the day
- Professional, friendly communication with employees while solving facility issues
- Solid problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Jobs which involve one or more tasks or duties that could affect the safety and health of the employee performing the task or others are considered safety-sensitive.
