Clinical Research Coordinator II - IDCRP

HJF is seeking a Clinical Research Coordinator II to perform clinical research and patient treatment in conjunction with one or more specified clinical research protocols. The role focuses on ensuring protocol requirements are achieved within Good Clinical Practice while adhering to legal, professional, and ethical codes regarding confidentiality and privacy. Responsibilities Reviews new patient records and screens patients for eligibility, interviews patients for protocols and collects and analyzes data for recruitment, obtains informed consent, and educates patients on protocol roles. Collects, organizes, catalogs, disseminates, and maintains files of current data; maintains weekly/monthly status reports. Serves as a liaison between patients and physicians and acts as a resource for patients. Transcribes and resolves queries of data in case report forms (hard‑copy or electronic) and prepares documents under direction of project heads. Adheres to legal, professional and ethical codes concerning confidentiality and privacy and ensures protocol requirements are achieved within Good Clinical Practice. Schedules patients for appointments and visits, assists with monitoring audits/visits for protocols, and travels to support protocols at other sites as needed. Qualifications Education and Experience Bachelor’s Degree (Life Sciences or Public Health preferred). Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience required. Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Knowledge of federal and local regulations and policies pertinent to research involving human subjects. Excellent interpersonal and computer skills (Microsoft Office). Effective communication and ability to work with individuals at all levels. Phlebotomy experience highly preferred. Experience with Redcap and MHS Genesis preferred. Experience in clinical research. Experience with specimen processing preferred. Experience with regulatory processes preferred. DOW or Government experience is a plus. U.S. Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a T3 Secret Clearance may be required. Physical Capabilities Lifting: requires lifting materials up to 25 lbs. Work Environment Primarily in a clinic setting. Compensation The annual salary range is $61,000–$80,000; actual salary will be determined by experience, education, and other factors.
