Kwiat | Fred Leighton brings together two of New York’s most storied names in fine jewelry.

Kwiat was founded in 1907 and remains family-owned, now in its fourth generation. For more than a century, Kwiat has been known for exceptional diamonds, meticulous craftsmanship, and timeless design.

Fred Leighton is one of the world’s most celebrated sources of antique and vintage jewelry. What began in Greenwich Village grew into a Madison Avenue destination that helped bring estate jewelry into modern fashion. The collection spans signed period pieces from the Georgian and Victorian eras through Art Deco and the 20th century.

Since 2009, the Kwiat family has carried Fred Leighton’s legacy forward. Together, the two houses offer clients something rare: the finest modern diamond jewelry alongside one-of-a-kind jewels with history, provenance, and soul.

The Role

We’re looking for an experienced Sales Professional to join our team. You’ll build lasting relationships with a discerning clientele, guide clients through significant purchases, and represent two storied brands with knowledge, warmth, and discretion.

What You’ll Do

• Deliver an exceptional, personalized client experience in the boutique and by appointment
• Develop and grow your own client book through outreach, follow-up, and clienteling
• Share the history, provenance, and craftsmanship behind our modern and vintage collections
• Meet and exceed individual and store sales goals
• Partner with colleagues on events, private viewings, and special orders
• Keep accurate client records and follow through on every detail

What We’re Looking For

• Proven sales experience in luxury fine jewelry (required)
• Experience with antique, estate, or vintage jewelry is a strong plus
• Solid knowledge of diamonds, colored gemstones, and jewelry construction; GIA coursework or credentials a plus
• An existing client network and a track record of building relationships
• Polished, professional presentation and excellent communication skills
• Must be based locally in the New York area
• Availability to work weekends, holidays, and events as needed

Compensation: $70k – $80K base salary, plus commission
