The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment while supporting various surgical procedures. Shift Notes\n \n Days: Monday - Friday \n Schedule: 3x12s from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM \n 36 hours per week \n Holiday rotation required \n On-call requirements: up to 1 overnight per week and 3 weekends per 13-week contract \n Floating across multiple locations may be required \n Job Responsibilities\n \n Manage a patient caseload of 35-50 cases per day. \n Maintain an average turnover time of less than 20 minutes between surgical cases. \n Utilize advanced technologies and equipment, including Davinci robots and Stealth technology for neuro navigation. \n Participate in trauma and emergency surgical procedures as a Level 1 trauma center. \n Prepare and maintain the OR environment to ensure safety and efficiency. \n Unit Information\n \n Patient Ratios: 1:1 \n Bed Size: 16 \n Specialty service lines include: Cardiac, Neuro, Orthopedics (primarily trauma), Robotics, Gynecology, Urology, General Surgery, Pediatrics, and Transplants. \n Scrub or circulate duties may be required. \n Qualifications\n \n Minimum of 24 months current operating room experience is required. \n Circulating and operating room experience required; scrub experience is highly preferred. \n Experience in General, Davinci Robotics, Pediatrics, and Trauma cases is required. \n Preferred experience in Neurology, Orthopedics (trauma), Gynecology, Urology, Transplants, Plastics, and Vascular cases. \n EPIC electronic medical records experience within the last 3 years is required. \n Experience in Trauma Level II is required; Trauma Level I experience is highly preferred. \n No first-time travelers; applicants must have completed a travel assignment within the last 15 months. \n Active Iowa nursing license or compact/multistate license is required. \n Current BLS certification (American Heart Association) is required. \n Additional Requirements\n All candidates must be located at least 50 miles from the facility. Past employees of this organization cannot work travel assignments in another market for 12 months following their separation.
