Job Details

We are looking for a dynamic and skilled Project Engineer to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of a fast-paced environment in the construction industry, where you will be responsible for providing technical support to our project teams. You will be involved in a wide range of activities, from reviewing plans and specifications, to supporting jobsite meetings, and assisting with project closeout documentation. This role offers the chance to work on a variety of projects and to develop your skills in a challenging and rewarding setting.

Responsibilities:

1. Supporting jobsite meetings and maintaining accurate meeting minutes.
2. Reviewing plans, specifications, and contract documents for accuracy and constructability.
3. Assisting with project closeout documentation and turnover.
4. Collaborating with project managers and other team members to ensure project objectives are met.
5. Identifying and resolving technical issues that may arise during the project.
6. Ensuring all work is carried out in compliance with company standards, procedures, and safety regulations.
7. Providing technical advice to the project team and stakeholders.
8. Participating in project planning and scheduling, and monitoring progress against timelines.
9. Coordinating with contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the construction industry.
3. Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
4. Excellent technical skills, including proficiency in using project management software.
5. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to solve problems and make decisions effectively.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well in a team.
7. Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, and to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
8. A proactive and flexible approach, with the ability to adapt to changing project needs and priorities.
9. A commitment to maintaining high standards of health and safety at all times.
