Job Description: Join our team as a Critical Care Float RN for a 16-week contract at a busy hospital in Farmington, CT. This role offers a unique opportunity to float between ICU, Intermediate, and Medical-Surgical units during 12-hour night shifts, providing a varied and engaging environment. You’ll be responsible for delivering high-quality care to critically ill patients, working alongside a skilled team in a fast-paced setting. The schedule includes rotating weekends and holidays, with an emphasis on flexibility and teamwork. If you’re an experienced RN with at least 2 years of recent ICU or ED experience and thrive in adaptable roles, this assignment will keep you challenged and connected to diverse critical care scenarios. Weather: The weather around this time tends to be cool with crisp autumn air, making it an ideal time for outdoor adventures and exploring the charming surroundings of Farmington. Mild temperatures and colorful foliage create a picturesque setting for your stay. Fun Things To Do: Visit the Hill-Stead Museum and enjoy the historic architecture and beautiful gardens. Take a scenic drive to the nearby Farmington River for kayaking or fishing. Explore the scenic trails of Talcott Mountain State Park with breathtaking views from Talcott Mountain.
