Research Associate II – Philadelphia, PA As a Research Associate II, you will play a pivotal role in advancing gene therapy programs by supporting the Immunology group in real-time immune assessment and clinical sample processing. Your expertise in immunological assays and regulated laboratory practices will help drive novel therapies from research to clinical trial stages. This role is based at a cutting‑edge AAV research facility in Philadelphia within a global life sciences enterprise, offering exposure to high‑impact, innovative projects in rare disease therapeutics. Key Responsibilities Process and document whole blood samples from clinical studies in compliance with GxP and GLP/GCLP guidelines. Coordinate closely with clinical teams and laboratory managers for sample receiving, testing, and biobanking. Execute immunoassays and cell‑based assays (such as ELISA and ELISPOT) under supervisory guidance. Analyze and report assay data accurately; contribute to technical reports and presentation materials. Support new clinical assay development, including optimization, qualification, and troubleshooting activities. Maintain meticulous lab documentation and record‑keeping per good documentation practices. Track reagent and supply inventory for assigned projects; advise on procurement needs. Author or contribute to standard operating procedures (SOPs) for new assays and laboratory equipment. Help maintain a compliant and organized GxP laboratory environment.
