Finance Transformation Manager

Role Description

We are looking for a Finance Transformation Manager to drive the Finance department's digital transformation with two objectives:

• Enhance operational efficiency by mapping out existing processes and systematically reviewing options to eliminate manual tasks through AI/automation solutions.
• Expand real-time insights and analytical capabilities through restructuring of finance data, expansion of reporting capabilities, and implementation of a new or upgraded financial systems.

Outcomes

• Outcome 1: Comprehensive Process Audit and Transformation Roadmap
  • Completed a thorough audit of current Finance department processes to identify all manual, inefficient, and high-risk steps.
  • Developed a clear 12-month transformation roadmap, prioritizing automation opportunities that leverage AI for maximum impact.
• Outcome 2: AI/Automation Implementation (Phase 1)
  • Successfully designed and implemented at least two key AI-powered automation solutions in areas like payroll, financial reconciliation, or reporting.
  • Achieved a measurable reduction in the targeted processes' cycle time and a quantifiable improvement in data accuracy.
• Outcome 3: Recommendations regarding financial systems set up
  • Analyzed current financial systems set up and reviewed future requirements to support group expansion.
  • Provided recommendations on upgrading/expanding current financial systems with add-ons vs. switching to a more sophisticated financial suite.
• Outcome 4: Strategic Reporting Capabilities
  • Created standardized, automated reporting templates that provide the CFO with real-time, actionable insights for high-level decision-making.
  • Established cross-functional partnerships to ensure key business and financial data is meaningful and well-defined.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Business, or similar field.
• 5-10 years total experience.
• Proven track record in analyzing Finance processes and delivering Finance transformation in a mid-size company environment.
• Direct experience with Financial / ERP systems and a background in integrating and optimizing financial data flows across multiple platforms.
• Deep expertise in leveraging AI tools and automation technologies to solve complex problems in a Finance context.
• Expert level in Excel and PowerPoint.
