POSITION SUMMARY

Are you detail-oriented, highly organized, and passionate about helping people achieve their homeownership goals? As a Mortgage Loan Processor, you will play a vital role in guiding mortgage applications through the loan process, ensuring an exceptional customer experience from application to closing. Working closely with Mortgage Loan Officers, borrowers, underwriters, title companies, and other partners, you'll gather and review documentation, maintain accurate loan files, prepare disclosures, and help ensure loans are processed efficiently and in compliance with lending regulations and secondary market requirements. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, delivering outstanding service, and making a meaningful impact on customers' financial journeys.

• Manage mortgage loan files from application through underwriting, ensuring documentation is complete, accurate, and organized.
• Collect, review, and verify required borrower documentation, including employment, income, assets, deposits, and reserves.
• Prepare and deliver Loan Estimates, Closing Disclosures, and other required documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements and bank policies.
• Enter and maintain loan information within the loan origination system with a high degree of accuracy.
• Order and track appraisals, flood certifications, credit reports, private mortgage insurance, and tax transcripts.
• Review incoming verifications, inspections, and supporting documentation to ensure compliance with underwriting and secondary market guidelines.
• Coordinate with borrowers, Mortgage Loan Officers, underwriters, title companies, and other stakeholders to facilitate a smooth loan process.
• Maintain productivity, quality, and turnaround time expectations while ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and serve as a knowledgeable resource throughout the mortgage lending process.
• Stay current on mortgage lending regulations, market requirements, bank products, and system enhancements.

• Support departmental operations through document management, scanning, filing, and reporting activities.
• Maintain knowledge of bank policies, procedures, products, and industry changes.
• Participate in training and professional development opportunities.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two or more years of mortgage lending, loan processing, or related financial services experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of mortgage lending regulations, compliance requirements, and secondary market guidelines.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships with customers and team members.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills, sound judgment, and commitment to accuracy.
• Proficiency in mortgage loan origination systems and Microsoft Office applications.
