A critical access hospital near the Oregon Coast is seeking a Pharmacist to serve as the Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) in a one-person pharmacy. This position offers a unique opportunity to lead pharmacy operations in a small, close-knit hospital setting while enjoying the natural beauty of the Coquille area.

Location:

• Coquille, Oregon, near Coos Bay and the scenic Oregon Coast

Position Details:

• Role: Pharmacist / Pharmacist in Charge (PIC)
• Setting: 25-bed Critical Access Hospital
• Schedule: Four 10-hour day shifts per week
• Job Type: Contract to hire, with options for permanent or travel arrangements

Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders accurately and efficiently
• Supervise and support pharmacy technicians in daily operations
• Manage pharmacokinetics and clinical pharmacology activities
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory pharmacy standards
• Oversee the entire pharmacy workflow as the sole pharmacist on site

Qualifications:

• Current Oregon pharmacist license or eligibility to obtain licensure
• Willingness to become PIC in a one-person pharmacy setting
• Strong leadership skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and handle diverse pharmacy responsibilities
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
