Flooring InstallerParks Building Solutions is seeking a skilled, dependable Flooring Installer to install, repair, and maintain a variety of flooring materials for residential, commercial, and multifamily construction projects. The Flooring Installer is responsible for delivering high-quality workmanship, maintaining a safe work environment, and ensuring projects are completed on time and in accordance with company standards and customer expectations.Benefits:Competitive salary commensurate with experience.Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance.Paid time off and paid holidays.Life insurance.Short-Term and Long-Term Disability coverage.Accident and Critical Illness coverage.Retirement savings plan with company matching.Opportunities for professional development and advancement.A supportive and inclusive work environment that fosters growth and innovation.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesInstall various flooring products, including carpet, luxury vinyl plank (LVP), luxury vinyl tile (LVT), sheet vinyl, laminate flooring, hardwood flooring, and tile flooring (if applicable).Measure and prepare installation areas.Remove existing flooring materials and dispose of debris properly.Inspect subfloors and perform necessary preparation, including leveling, cleaning, and moisture testing.Cut, fit, and secure flooring materials using appropriate tools and techniques.Install trim, moldings, transitions, and finishing components.Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and project specifications.Maintain a clean and organized job site.Follow all company safety policies and OSHA requirements.Communicate effectively with supervisors, project managers, customers, and team members.Load, unload, transport, and care for materials and equipment.Report material shortages, quality concerns, or project issues promptly.Perform warranty or service work as assigned.Assist with other construction-related duties as needed.Required QualificationsMinimum of 1-3 years of flooring installation experience preferred.Knowledge of flooring installation techniques, materials, and tools.Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic math calculations.Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and installation equipment safely.Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.Physical RequirementsFrequently lift and carry up to 50 pounds; occasionally lift more with assistance.Stand, kneel, crouch, bend, and climb for extended periods.Ability to work in various indoor and outdoor job site conditions.Ability to handle flooring materials, adhesives, and installation equipment safely.Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesStrong problem-solving skills.Ability to meet project deadlines while maintaining quality standards.Excellent time management and organizational skills.Customer-service oriented with a professional attitude.Commitment to workplace safety and continuous improvement.Work EnvironmentConstruction sites, residential homes, commercial buildings, and renovation projects.Exposure to dust, noise, varying temperatures, and construction-related hazards.Frequent local travel to job sites may be required.
