Locum CNM (Certified Nurse Midwife) Ob/Gyn

Description . This on-site, contract position offers an excellent opportunity to provide high-quality care and support to women throughout their pregnancy and delivery journey. As a Locum CNM, you will work collaboratively with obstetricians and healthcare teams to ensure safe and effective patient care. You will be responsible for performing patient assessments, providing prenatal and postnatal care, and educating patients on reproductive health. This role is vital in our mission to deliver exemplary healthcare services and improve patient outcomes in the community. Responsibilities Perform initial and ongoing assessments of pregnant patients Provide comprehensive prenatal, labor, delivery, and postpartum care Educate patients about childbirth, family planning, and reproductive health Collaborate with obstetricians and healthcare teams for optimal patient outcomes Maintain accurate patient records and documentation Advise patients on lifestyle and nutrition related to pregnancy Respond to patient emergencies and complications as needed Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations and standards Requirements Current certification and licensure as a Certified Nurse Midwife Associate degree in Nursing or related field; Bachelor's degree preferred Experience in Ob/Gyn care is highly desirable Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced environment Commitment to providing high‑quality patient care Knowledge of current healthcare practices and procedures Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams Schedule: 12-hour shifts Will rotate between multiple facilities Annual Volume: 1,600+ deliveries between facilities Duties: Triage/OBED coverage, OB inpatient care, ED and inpatient GYN consults, and facilitation of OB & GYN transfers Support Staff: OB Hospitalists Must be board-certified Paid travel & expenses #J-18808-Ljbffr
