Position Purpose:  

This position will work closely with the plant controller in his/her daily, weekly, and monthly task in managing financial results, and will need to possess strong process management and critical thinking skills. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES:  

• Review for accuracy then record daily manufacturing - usage and consumption? 
• Managing receipts, settlements, sales, invoicing, billing, payments, books, records, and financial statements.
• Overseeing company accounting activities. 
• Enter all contracts for AR and AP? 
• Fill out and submit monthly govt reports, including Tonnage Taxes and Sorghum Checkoff? 
• Assist with internal and external audits? 
• Provide support to the front desk and AP Clerk.
• Assist with inventory control, including cycle counting, parts tracking, etc
• Help streamline existing processes and create new procedures.
• Assist with organizing and general housekeeping of warehouse?? 
• Filing end of the month or year reports to the provincial security regulatory authority 

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:

• 1 to 3 years of experience preferred in accounting, financial planning and analysis, inventory, or asset control at a renewable fuel’s organization, but will train the right candidate? 
• Analytics and problem-solving skills 
• Knowledge of different accounting software and spreadsheet software like Microsoft Excel 

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE

• Organizational and communication skills, both written and verbal?
• Strong attention to detail, analytical and possesses a proven results orientation? 
• Time management 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:??

• This job may require lifting of up to 50 pounds frequently.?
