Associate Director, Content We are seeking a strategic, highly creative content leader to shape and elevate thought leadership across digital, editorial, and visual channels. This role will lead the development of compelling research reports, articles, frameworks, and social content—turning complex insights into clear, engaging stories through strong writing, editing, design, and data visualization. You will manage a public-facing thought-leadership website, support content distribution across platforms such as LinkedIn and Substack, and help evolve the organization’s visual and editorial standards. Location: NYC (hybrid 3 days in office) Type: W2 contract Duration: 4 month (potential for extension) Rate:$55-60/hr What You’ll Do Lead the design, editing, and production of thought-leadership reports, research, articles, and digital content. Create clear visual narratives using layouts, charts, diagrams, frameworks, and other data-visualization tools. Partner with researchers and strategists to translate findings into audience-ready content. Develop and maintain brand and editorial standards across content formats. Create short-form promotional content for social and email channels. Manage website publishing, SEO optimization, content organization, and ongoing site enhancements. Explore AI-enabled and emerging creative tools to improve content quality and production efficiency. Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including legal and technical teams, to deliver projects on time. What You’ll Bring 7–10 years of experience in writing, editing, content strategy, design, or a related field; newsroom experience is a plus. Exceptional writing, copyediting, storytelling, and visual communication skills. Experience creating digital and social content, managing websites, and applying SEO best practices. Strong judgment in shaping complex information into concise, audience-focused narratives. Comfort working with research, data, and visual storytelling. Excellent project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. A collaborative, detail-oriented, self-directed approach with strong communication skills.
