Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Dentist role based in San Antonio, TX. The Dentist will provide comprehensive clinical care, including examinations, diagnosis, treatment planning, restorative procedures, preventive care, and basic orthodontic or cosmetic services as appropriate. Daily responsibilities include performing dental procedures with a strong focus on patient safety and comfort, educating patients on oral health and treatment options, and maintaining accurate, compliant clinical documentation. The role will collaborate closely with hygienists, dental assistants, and office team members to ensure efficient patient flow and a positive experience. The Dentist is also expected to participate in ongoing professional development, follow clinical and regulatory standards, and support JDO’s commitment to high-quality, affordable care. Qualifications Clinical dentistry skills, including diagnostic assessment, restorative procedures, preventive care, and treatment planning. Strong patient communication skills, with the ability to explain treatment options, provide education, and build trust with individuals and families. Collaborative skills for working effectively with dental assistants, hygienists, and office staff in a high-volume clinical setting. Commitment to quality, safety, and regulatory compliance, including adherence to infection control, OSHA standards, and ethical practice guidelines. Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from an accredited institution. Active Texas dental license in good standing, or eligibility to obtain one prior to start date. Current CPR/BLS certification and familiarity with digital dental technologies (e.g., digital radiography, electronic health records). Willingness to engage in ongoing learning, mentoring, and career development within a growing dental organization; experience with underserved or diverse patient populations is a plus. #J-18808-Ljbffr
