- Shift: Day, 5x8-Hour (08:00 15:30)
- Schedule: Must work Saturdays and Sundays in the Burn Unit, with 3 additional shifts Monday Friday (flexible)
- Hours/week: Up to 40 hours
- Employment Type: Contract/Travel Therapy
- Licensure/Certs: Must hold a valid Physical Therapist (PT) license, EPIC experience required
- Experience: At least 1 year in a similar acute care setting, experience with burn patients preferred
Pay & Benefits:
- Hourly Rate: $56.95
- Weekly pay via direct deposit

What You'll Do:
- Provide physical therapy to burn patients with varying TBSA (0-100%) in a specialized burn unit
- Assist with mobility, positioning, and prevention of contractures and scarring
- Manage a patient load of up to 8 patients per day during peak seasons
- Handle patients experiencing pain, surgical dressings, and limited mobility issues
- Support outpatient evaluations and therapy sessions when time permits
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team dedicated to patient recovery and success
- Float within inpatient settings as required, providing versatile support
What You Need:
- Valid Physical Therapist (PT) license in Louisiana or eligible for licensure reciprocity
- Minimum of 1 year experience in acute care, ideally with burn or trauma patients
- Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records
- Strong mobility and positioning skills for burn patient care
- Ability to work weekends and flexible shifts as required
