Associate - Litigation Product Liability

Job Overview A law firm seeks an associate with strong legal writing skills, particularly in pharmaceutical and medical device Daubert / Rule702 motions practice, to join its Litigation group in Chicago, IL. This position offers a hybrid work environment with regular in‑office presence and some flexibility for remote work. Duties Communicate effectively with clients. Supervise junior associates. Collaborate with experts in the field. Assist with fact development and depositions. Review and draft discovery responses, briefs, motions, and memoranda. Contribute to developing case strategy. Requirements Minimum of 3 years of litigation experience, preferably at an AmLaw100 firm. Extensive experience writing briefs, including Rule702 and Daubert issues. Experience with products‑liability litigation. Familiarity with the pharmaceutical and medical device industry is a plus. Education Juris Doctor (JD) from a nationally recognized school. Certifications Admitted to practice in the jurisdiction of application. Candidates licensed to practice law in New York are encouraged to apply. Skills Strong analytical and writing skills.
