Our Optical Communications segment has recently evolved from being a manufacturer of optical fiber and cable, hardware and equipment to being a comprehensive provider of industry-leading optical solutions across the broader communications industry.This segment is classified into two main product groupings – carrier network and enterprise network. The carrier network product group consists primarily of products and solutions for optical-based communications infrastructure for services such as video, data and voice communications. The enterprise network product group consists primarily of optical-based communication networks sold to businesses, governments and individuals for their own use.

Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and skilled Project Team Leader to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of projects that support operational efficiency and business goals. This role requires strong leadership, effective communication, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects from planning through completion, ensuring timelines, quality standards, and business objectives are met

• Coordinate resources and support project execution across cross-functional teams

• Monitor progress, resolve issues, and communicate updates to stakeholders

• Identify process improvements to enhance workflows and operational performance

• Develop and maintain procedures in compliance with ISO standards

• Foster a collaborative team environment through clear communication, coaching, and support

• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, project management, or a related field, or equivalent experience

• 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing or technical environment

• Project management experience, preferably related to facilities growth, expansion, or organizational initiatives

• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills

• Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies

• Demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage competing priorities

Preferred:

• 2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience

• Experience leading cross-functional teams

• Experience with project scheduling tools

• PMP, CAPM, Agile, Lean, or similar certification

The range for this position is $80,750.00 - $111,031.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
