Hospital Lab Assistant - Inventory / Supplies

Hospital Lab Assistant position focused on inventory and supply chain management at Ascension St. John Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Responsible for ordering supplies, managing inventory systems, processing departmental requests, and coordinating physical inventory counts in a fast-paced clinical laboratory environment.

Responsibilities

• Place and manage supply orders from vendors via computer and phone
• Receive, process, and enter inventory into management systems
• Handle lab department supply requests via phone, fax, and email
• Identify and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly
• Conduct full monthly physical inventory counts and maintain records

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years inventory, purchasing, or supply management experience
• Knowledge of inventory control and physical inventory procedures
• Proficiency with procurement software and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle)
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including formulas and pivot tables
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
• Strong verbal communication and basic computer data entry skills
