Job Details Job Location: Kentfield, CA 94904 Position Type: Full Time Salary Range: $31.58 - $38.50 hourly Founded in 1954 as Center Medical Hospital, Kentfield Hospital (now a subsidiary of American Advanced Management), a Long-Term Acute care Hospital (LTACH) serving patients across two locations in Marin County and SanFrancisco. Position Summary Responsible for providing and directing Occupational Therapy Services to patients including assessment, treatment, program planning and implementation, related documentation and communication. Functions under physician’s orders. This Full-time position will be based in our Kentfield Hospital location in Marin. Position Supervisory Responsibilities Supervises the following positions: None Essential Functions and Responsibilities Identify and implement components of the therapy process. Identify learning needs and teach patients and families. Communicate and collaborate with a variety of teams and individuals. Apply professional standards of practice in job situations. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications Associate’s Degree in Occupational Therapy required. Successful completion of National Certification Examination for COTA required. Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant in the state of employment required. Current BLS certification from American Heart Association. Additional Qualifications/Skills One (1) year of experience preferred. Ability to project a professional image. Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements. Strong organizational, prioritizing and analytical skills. Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant. Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions. Freedom from illegal use of and effects of use of drugs and alcohol in the workplace. Certificates, Licensures, Registrations Successful completion of National Certification Examination for COTA required. Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant in the state of employment required. Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association. Attendance Regular and punctual attendance. Language Skills English is the primary language of the facility.
