Emergency Room (ER) NurseWe are seeking a dedicated and experienced Emergency Room (ER) Nurse to join our Dynamic Float Pool. This position involves working nights and will require floating to multiple locations within a specified region.Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced emergency environment.Float between various emergency departments as needed, covering a radius of 60 miles.Conduct assessments, triage patients, and collaborate with the healthcare team for effective treatment planning and implementation.Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, while monitoring patient response.Maintain accurate documentation of patient records and care provided.Participate in orientation and ongoing training sessions to stay current with best practices.Support nursing staff and assist in various tasks as required within the ER.Minimum of 2 years of experience in emergency nursing.Required certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), ENPC or PALS, NIHSS, TNCC.Strong clinical assessment skills and ability to work under pressure.Must be available to float within the designated zone.Ability to provide compassionate and patient-centered care.This position is located in the Emergency Room Float Pool, which includes multiple facilities within the region, particularly in Garden City, KS area. The nurse will be interacting with a diverse patient population and collaborating closely with a variety of healthcare professionals.12-hour night shifts.Every other weekend and holiday shift commitment required.Week of orientation will be provided, with the expectation of attendance even if some modules are completed remotely.A maximum of 3 shifts can be missed during a 13-week contract period, with the opportunity to make up shifts at the beginning or end of the contract.Navy blue scrubs are required for this position.No home base facility is assigned; travelers must be flexible and prepared to float within the designated zone. Orientation and training will last 2-3 days, ensuring all nursing staff are equipped for their roles.
