Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN)

This is a 13-week contract position.

Night shift: 3x12 hours (19:00 - 07:30). Weekend requirements: Yes, every other weekend. Floating between like units is required.

We are seeking a seasoned Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality emergency care to a diverse patient population in a fast-paced environment. The ER receives approximately 170 patients per day and operates as a Level 1 stroke and cardiac center while functioning as a Level II trauma center.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to emergency department patients.
• Manage and triage patients effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Perform advanced nursing skills, including arterial line management and care for ventilated patients.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary support team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Utilize the EPIC charting system for documentation and patient records.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as an ER RN.
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC.
• EPIC charting experience is essential.
• Compact RN license must be in hand at submission.
