Job Summary:
A registered nurse (RN) specializing in the Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) is needed in Springfield, Massachusetts. Candidates will be responsible for providing patient care within a dynamic healthcare environment. The position requires candidates to bring their nursing license on the first day of employment.

Job Details:

• Location: Springfield, Massachusetts
• Shift: Days, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license; at least 2 years of relevant experience; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA); ability to start by December 28th and no later than January 12th
• Preferred Qualifications: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA); experience with Cerner electronic medical record system is preferred
• Additional Information: The role involves working in a float capacity within the Intermediate Care unit (IMC). Staffing is based on a 48 hours work week, with responsibilities including covering every other weekend and alternating holidays. Expected patient ratios are approximately 1:5, 1:6, or occasionally 1:7.
