Senior Corporate Accountant

Senior Corporate AccountantOur growing client has a need for a Senior Corporate Accountant. Duties:Perform month end close functions and monitor month end close at an enterprise levelPrepare various schedules required for internal and external reporting on a GAAP, statutory, and management reporting basisPrepare financial reports such as balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements, budgets and footnote schedulesReview, analyze and process cash transactions on an enterprise levelPrepare monthly bank and general ledger reconciliationsReview and approve Business Unit and employee expendituresRequirements:Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related fieldCPA designation or progress towards CPA designation preferredMinimum of five years of relevant and progressive professional experience in accounting and/or financeSolid understanding of GAAP and/or Statutory Accounting PrinciplesExcellent written and verbal communications skills with an emphasis on confidentiality, tact, and diplomacyExceptional organizational and analytical skills; demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneouslyIntermediate proficiency and experience using Microsoft Office package (Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word)
