Maintenance Tech-2nd ShiftIn this position you will have the opportunity to ensure the plant is in compliance with generally accepted maintenance principles while working independently requiring limited supervision. The bullet points below reflect roughly 80% of your job. We are a fast-paced company, you may be pulled in a variety of different direction with tasks added or changed.Perform emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment.Perform regular preventive maintenance tasks on machines, equipment, and systems.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support major repairs, upgrades, and improvement projectsSafely accomplish assigned tasksMust be willing to work overtime as needed.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop equipment specifications and proactive maintenance strategiesComply with safety regulationsMaintain clean and orderly work areasOther duties as assignedHigh School Graduate/HSE or equivalent manufacturing experience. Excellent written and verbal communication, as well as interpersonal skills. Manage ambiguity while working through stressful situations. Positive attitude and a willingness to work with others. Basic machining skills. Basic welding skills. Ability to work independently as well as part of a group. Must own hand tools. Strong troubleshooting skills.Experience with Lockout/Tagout, Hot Work PermitsOutstanding attendancePrevious Maintenance ExperienceAbility to read blueprints and machine control schematicsPhysical demands of performing the duties of this job are outlined in the area specific Physical Demands Analysis. Extreme temperatures, wetness / humidity and being outdoors.Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.Ability to run respective inventory system (Great Plains, E21, MES etc.).Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
