A general manufacturing position includes the opportunity to learn the commingling process from the ground up and advance in a progressive environment. Starting wage - $17.50 - $19.50 / hr depending on experience, plus a shift differential for 2nd & 3rd shiftThese positions may also include:Being involved in training and leading other crew members Continuous clean-up and housekeeping of the production areaEnsuring compliance with quality, safety, and work rulesSome positions may also include the operation of a forkliftRequired Qualifications: Successful candidates must be able to do the following (with or without reasonable accommodation): Work 8-hour shifts - 2nd Shift (3p m-11 pm), or 3rd Shift (11pm- 7 am) Work a split shift (every other Saturday as overtime shift)Lift 10-15 pounds continuously, lift to 70 pounds occasionally, stand for long hours, and use hands and wrists continuously in a controlled movementReceive and follow instructions Use vision to identify defects in the product Good verbal and written comprehension, the ability to thrive in a team environment, and working independently with minimal supervision are required. Preferred Qualifications:Manufacturing experience (such as laborer, machinist, assembly, down piling, or bindery) The ability to perform basic math calculations Employees can be expected to be paid an hourly range of $17.50-$19.50, based on variations in knowledge, skills, experience, and market conditions.
