About Us
Double E Construction is a locally owned exterior remodeling company serving homeowners throughout Pennsylvania, Delaware, and Maryland with roofing, siding, decks, additions, and remodeling services. Since 1997, we've built our business around honest communication, dependable craftsmanship, and practical improvements designed to protect and enhance our customers' homes. We're a friendly, Christian team committed to quality work, lasting relationships, and doing each job with care.
What You'll Do as a Construction Crew Member/Driver
- Assist with roofing, siding, remodeling, and general construction projects.
- Prepare job sites by helping with demolition, installation, material removal, and cleanup.
- Measure, cut, carry, position, install, and remove building materials according to project needs.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, ladders, and construction equipment safely and properly.
- Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment while keeping job sites clean, organized, and safe.
- Drive a Ford F-350 four-door truck and pull a 20-foot flatbed trailer to job sites.
- Protect customers' homes, property, and landscaping while completing assigned work.
- Follow the crew foreman's direction and work with your crew to meet project schedules and quality standards.
Our Ideal Construction Crew Member/Driver
- Dependable: Show up ready to work each day and follow through on your responsibilities.
- Experienced or Teachable: Bring previous roofing, siding, carpentry, remodeling, or general construction experience, or a willingness to learn through on-the-job training.
- Safety-Conscious: Work safely with tools, ladders, roofs, and elevated work areas while following proper construction practices.
- Physically Capable: Be comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions, regularly climbing and bending, and lifting and carrying up to 75 pounds.
- Qualified Driver: Hold a valid driver's license, maintain a clean driving record for the past five years, and be able to meet DOT physical requirements.
- Team-Focused: Take pride in quality work, be willing to improve, and contribute to a friendly, Christian team environment.
