Registered Nurse (RN) in Coronary Care Unit (CCU)
We are currently seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Coronary Care Unit (CCU) on a long-term contract. The RN will assess, implement, and evaluate patient care in collaboration with physicians and the broader healthcare team. This role requires clinical expertise in critical care nursing, a strong understanding of current nursing practices, and the ability to provide leadership to nursing support staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess patient conditions and implement individualized care plans
- Collaborate with patients, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members to optimize care outcomes
- Provide direction and guidance to nursing support staff in accordance with professional standards and hospital policies
- Apply evidence-based practices and current clinical techniques in daily nursing care
- Maintain compliance with established safety and quality standards
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (Required)
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in coronary care or related specialty (Preferred)
- Active Pennsylvania Registered Nurse (RN) License (Required)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification (Required)
- Additional specialty certifications may be required, depending on unit needs
