Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Primary Care

JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE Assists practitioner in performance of procedures, telephone prescription orders/refills, maintaining patient record and relaying test results. Provides safe and quality nursing care under the direction of SHS practitioners and the Clinic Supervisor within scope of practice. DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION The Samaritan InterCommunity Health Clinic is a comprehensive, patient-centered primary care clinic for IHN-CCO members with the goal of promoting equitable and culturally humble care for all, by aligning the health plan with the clinical team to increase access, improve quality outcomes, reduce cost, and enhance coordination of care. EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS Current unencumbered Oregon Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) licensure required. Healthcare Provider BLS required. Previous experience in a clinical setting preferred. Lab/EKG experience preferred. KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES Patient Care - Possess the skills and knowledge needed to assist and care for others.
