Responsibilities Applying knowledge of SEC regulations and GAAP standards to ensure compliance in all accounting activities. Reviewing and analyzing credit card activity to ensure transactions are coded correctly and timely in Expensify. Creating and posting journal entries, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Reconciling balance sheets and other financial accounts to maintain accurate financial records. Reconciling payroll to ADP reports to prepare journal entries. Developing and implementing internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure accurate financial reporting. Assisting with the preparation of financial statements, budgets, and forecasts. Participating in the annual audit process by providing necessary information and preparing requested documentations. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA highly preferred. Minimum of 5 years of experience in an accounting role, preferably in the scientific industry. Proficient in SEC rules and regulations, GAAP standards, and other relevant accounting principles. Experience with Expensify and ADP systems. Strong knowledge of internal controls and risk management. Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to review complex financial data and draw accurate conclusions. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization. High proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly in Excel.
