Senior Data Engineer Location: Plano, TX (Hybrid 3-4 days/week, No Relocation). We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer to help design, build, and scale a modern enterprise data platform. This role is responsible for developing reliable, high‑quality data pipelines and curated data products that support business analytics. Key responsibilities include: Designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines using ETL and ELT techniques. Collaborating with data scientists, business analysts, and stakeholders to understand data requirements. Ensuring data quality, performance monitoring, and troubleshooting production data flows. Developing and enforcing data governance, security, and compliance standards. Optimizing data storage and processing strategies for cost and performance. Required qualifications: 5+ years of hands‑on data engineering experience. Strong SQL and data modeling fundamentals. Production experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, and related services. Proficiency in Python or Scala for data transformation. Experience with cloud data platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
