Data Analytics Platform Engineer

Take2 Consulting is seeking a Data Analytics Platform Engineer to support a mission‑critical federal cybersecurity program. The ideal candidate will have experience building and maintaining secure data analytics platforms that support cyber operations, security data pipelines, and enterprise‑scale data environments. This role is ideal for engineers with experience in Linux, Kubernetes/OpenShift, data lake technologies, and cybersecurity platform engineering. Responsibilities Design, deploy, and maintain secure data analytics platforms and data pipelines. Support log collection, normalization, enrichment, and routing for cybersecurity operations. Administer data lake technologies including Cloudera, Apache Iceberg, or Snowflake. Manage Apache Flink, Hive, Hue, or Zeppelin environments. Deploy and support Kubernetes or OpenShift platforms across cloud and on‑premises environments. Collaborate with cyber analysts, engineers, and developers in an Agile environment. Support detection engineering, threat hunting, and security automation initiatives. Ensure compliance with DoD, IC, and Zero Trust security standards. Required Qualifications 5+ years supporting enterprise data analytics or data lake platforms. 3+ years designing security data pipelines. 3+ years supporting cybersecurity engineering, defensive cyber operations, or security platforms. 2+ years administering Linux and/or Windows systems. Experience with Kubernetes or OpenShift. Knowledge of DoD/IC cybersecurity frameworks and Zero Trust. Active TS/SCI clearance. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Cribl, Kafka, Logstash, Fluentd, or similar streaming technologies. Experience with DevSecOps CI/CD pipelines. Python, Bash, or PowerShell scripting.
